The Takatika Grit is a geologic formation in Chatham Island, New Zealand (Tioriori). It preserves fossils dating back to the Paleocene period, although it also preserves disturbed and re-worked Maastrichtian and Campanian microfossils and possibly also re-worked theropod fossils.
