WDWC operates the Disneyland Resort?

I'm pretty sure it's run by Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, not the Walt Disney World Company. I could be wrong, but I have never read anywhere that WDWC operates DLR. --Lyght 22:22, 7 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct, I fixed it :) Legotech (talk) 23:53, 25 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I think I may have been wrong. Earlier this year, in front of Disneyland I saw a sign notifying guests of Disneyland applying for a permit to sell alcohol. The company name on the sign said "WALT DISNEY WORLD COMPANY". --Lyght (talk) 04:28, 9 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No source in the article indicates that this company operates both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Per the announce executive structure, there are separate presidents for Disney World and Disneyland thus operates separately. Secondly, the history sounds reasonable but is not supported by sources. Thus fails WP:V. Third, even though it might exist the company is not notable in and of itself. --Spshu (talk) 15:25, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The company does own Disneyland: https://local.anaheim.net/docs_agend/questys_pub/MG29054/AS29093/AS29096/AI29675/DO29677/1.pdf (this also mentions the company to be a Florida corporation). I'll add this source. Also, here are many building permits for Disneyland that are issued to "Walt Disney World Company": https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/permits.918519/page-3 2600:4040:5006:F700:ED2E:691:7554:D034 (talk) 17:32, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

And Walt Disney World Company (DE) merged into WDW Company (FL), which renamed itself Walt Disney World Company. This is all moot, this corporation is not notable. Spshu (talk) 22:54, 15 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
