The Warner Bros cartoons Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes contain many characters who have returned in the franchise's reboot, Looney Tunes Cartoons.

Marquee Characters

  • Bugs Bunny (voiced by Eric Bauza): the main protagonist of the show. Bugs is an anthropomorphic gray hare who wears yellow gloves, and is famous for his relaxed, passive personality, pronounced Mid-Atlantic accent, depiction as a mischievous trickster and his catchphrase "Ehh, what's up, doc?".
  • Daffy Duck (voiced by Eric Bauza): the deuteragonist of the show and Bugs Bunny's best friend, being depicted as a crazy prankster, but at the same time, arrogant, greedy and naive. His catchphrase is his signature laugh of "Woo-hoo!".
  • Tweety Bird (voiced by Eric Bauza): the tritagonist of the show. He is a yellow canary that has a somewhat large head. Despite being naïve, he usually acts in a violent way when predators (mainly Sylvester) try to feast upon him, which ends up in Tweety turning the tables on them. His catchphrase is "I tawt I taw a puddy tat. I did, I did taw a puddy tat".
  • Sylvester Pussycat (voiced by Jeff Bergman): the secondary tritagonist of the show. He is a tuxedo cat that shows much pride and plenty of envy; he also never knows when to quit, despite failing various times due to his incompetence, being mainly paired with Tweety.
  • Road Runner (voiced by Paul Julian via archival recordings[1]): a greater roadrunner characterized by his chipper personality, unmatchable speed, and his dialogue which is composed of only the sound "Beep, Beep".
  • Wile E. Coyote (voiced by TBA): a coyote who utilizes various gadgets and elaborate plans, ranging from the basically simple to the absurdly complex, to try and catch Road Runner, rather than his natural guile, but fails every time he tries to do so.
  • Porky Pig (voiced by Bob Bergen[2]): Daffy Duck's frenemy, as well as his sidekick. He is commonly depicted as smarter than Daffy, being his voice of reason, an innocent traveler, a straight man who is especially known for his stutter.
  • Elmer Fudd (voiced by Jeff Bergman): the anti-hero of the show. His aim is to dispose of both of either Bugs or Daffy due to their constant pestering, but he usually ends up seriously injuring himself, becoming a hapless victim or descending into insanity. He speaks in an unusual way (rhotacism), replacing his Rs and Ls with Ws. Elmer's catchphrase is his signature laugh "Huh-huh-huh-huh!".
  • Yosemite Sam (voiced by Fred Tatasciore[2]): the main antagonist of the show and Bugs' adversary. He is a more violent and competent enemy than Elmer, given that Sam has a tougher Western American English accent, a fierce temper, and a more ferocious spirit. His catchphrase is "I hates that rabbit".
  • Beaky Buzzard (voiced by Michael Ruocco[3]): a lanky buzzard with black feathers which cover his body, a white tuft around his throat, and a long, thin neck which bends halfway at an enormous Adam's apple. He is characterized as childish, clumsy, goofy and dumb, but sometimes smart and mischievous. His catchphrase is "Oh no no no no"

Supporting Characters

  • Marvin the Martian (voiced by Eric Bauza[4]): Marvin hails from the planet Mars, but is often found elsewhere on another world, constantly trying to plant his flag, so his own planet can claim it, and usually failing in a comical fashion.
  • Granny Webster (voiced by Candi Milo): usually referred to as just "Granny", she is one of the few human characters, being generally good-natured and protective of her beloved canary Tweety.
  • Sam Sheepdog (voiced by Fred Tatasciore[5]): a Briard sheepdog who uses minimal efforts to brutally punish Ralph for attempting to capture his flock of sheep in order to keep his job.
  • Ralph Wolf (voiced by Jeff Bergman[6]): a wolf who resembles Wile E. Coyote. Similarly to him, Ralph commonly uses ACME products to abduct himself a sheep, but usually fails due to Sam Sheepdog being his coworker.

Recurring Characters

  • Gossamer Monster (voiced by Fred Tatasciore[7]): a red monster whose rectangular body is created entirely from hair and perched on two giant tennis shoes, along with a face composed of only two bean-shaped eyes and a rarely visible mouth, with two hulking arms ending in dirty clawed fingers.
  • Mama Buzzard (voiced by Rachel Butera): Beaky's desperate mother who has nearly all the traits of her inept son, with an Italian accent to balance it. She is characterized as charismatic, endearing, intelligent, and caring, but sometimes abusive and overbearing.

Background Characters

  • Doctor Moron (voiced by Tom Kenny[8][9]): a villainous scientist who is Gossamer's creator. He is depicted as an intellectual genius, but at the same time, dour, grim, and droll.
