Fritz Rohrer (1888–1926) was a Swiss physician. He was a pioneer in pulmonary mechanics.[1] He was the first to propose the "Corpulence measure" (also known as Rohrer's Index) in 1921.[2] In 1916, he published an analysis of lung statics performed in volunteers. The analysis included airway pressures at different lung volumes.[3]
