He is a Professor of Geography specializing in Hydrology and Water Resources at the Department of Geography of PSU. Ever since joining the Portland State University, he has held important positions at various levels. He is editor of the The Professional Geographer which is a quarterly peer-reviewed and reputed academic journal publishing short articles on all aspects of geography. he is also Steering Committee Member, Commission for Water Sustainability, International Geographical Union. He has a number of patents and research accomplishments to his name. He has also authored a number of books and research papers. [3] [4] [5]
