Blocks in Bihar needs to recreate

[edit]

Blocks are an important administrative divisions in Bihar so I think this page should be recreated because there are more than 500 blocks in Bihar spreaded in 38 districts and that could not be fitted in Administration in Bihar page. I am going to recreate this page___ 👤Raju💌 03:25, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration of article

[edit]

@Onel5969:, the version of the article which was redirected by you (improved version) was very different from the version of the article upon which the AFD discussion was based on(AFD version). The version improved by Raju Babu has sources which mention the blocks together as groups (lack of sources mentioning blocks as group was the main reason for merge outcome of the AFD which is not true for the improved version of the article). Hence, I request you to revert your edit which changed the article into a redirect. Thank you. Pratyush (talk) 18:06, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi PratyushSinha101 - that may be the case, but the result of the AfD was not simply delete, but was merge, which has occurred. If you, or any other editor now wishes to split off the information from the target, they should begin a discussion as per WP:PROSPLIT, since there might be some objection due to the AfD and merge. @Onel5969:, your point is understandable and I would be more than willing to start a split discussion but at present there is nothing to split in the Administration in Bihar article about blocks. Pratyush (talk) 18:57, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
PratyushSinha101 - that's because Raju Babu deleted it, when they moved it to this page. I have just restored it. Good catch. Onel5969 TT me 19:00, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Onel5969:, I have initiated the split proposal at Talk:Administration in Bihar#Split proposed. Thanks for the fast replies. Pratyush (talk) 19:23, 15 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
