Álvaro Pintado
Álvaro Pintado Santaularia, also known as Álvaro Pintado, is a technology entrepreneur known as the founder and CEO of hello.app, a decentralized storage network, who is betting on the future of blockchain and AI and also the author of El Sistema Financiero Descentralizado a book about DEFI and how the modern decentralized financial system could replace the traditional one.[1][2][3][4]

Education and career
Pintado was born and raised in Pinós (Lleida), Catalonia, Spain. Studied in Viaró Global School, then started college at UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) studying Telecommunications Engineering but dropped out after 3 months to build hello.app, He started in the world of entrepreneurship at the age of 17 when he created Whispr, a SaaS (software model that stores information in the cloud) based on artificial intelligence. In the same year he published his first book entitled "The decentralized financial system".[5][6][7] Currently, together with his partner Alexander Baikalov, he has created Hello.app, a startup that wants to revolutionize the way information is stored in the cloud.[8][9]
Hello App The initiative consists of an ecosystem of decentralized applications, networks and infrastructure that is based on blockchain, decentralized storage and distributed databases. A system comparable to the Google application ecosystem with the main difference that, "being a decentralized storage system, it distributes data in multiple locations and devices, a fact that provides more resistance to errors and cyber attacks, as well as more privacy and autonomy by the users.[10][11]
