Shia Muslim communities in Syria refer to localities in Syria that are predominantly populated by mainstream Shia Muslims of the Twelver tradition. This list excludes other Muslim sects that branched off of or are affiliated with Shia Islam such as the Ismaili (Sevener) or Alawite communities.
