Christian Polak

Christian Polak is a French author, and a specialist of the relations between France and Japan.[1][2]
Career
Christian Polak graduated from the Department of Japanese studies at INALCO, Paris, in 1971. The same year, he entered the Language Department at Waseda University. In 1973, he entered the Law Department, History of Diplomacy Section, at Hitotsubashi University.[3] In 1980, Polak sustained his Doctor's thesis on the diplomatic relations between France and Japan from 1914 to 1925.[4]
Polak continues academic and research activities, and teaches at Chuo University and Rissho University. He regularly publishes on the subject of Franco-Japanese relations.
