Clifton George Dawson (born October 8 1983 in Scarborough, Ontario) is an American football running back who is currently a free agent. He was originally signed by the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played collegiately at Harvard.

Dawson starred at Birchmount Park Collegiate in Toronto and briefly attended Northwestern University before opting to transfer to Harvard.[1] He is the all-time Ivy League career rushing leader with 4,841 yards. He was selected four times for 1st Team All-Ivy League. He is also the 8th player in NCAA Division I history to rush for over 1,000 yards a season 4 times.

Though he was not selected during the 2007 NFL Draft, Dawson was signed as a free agent by the Indianapolis Colts after the conclusion of the draft.[2] However, he was one of the final cuts, but was subsequently signed by the Bengals. He made his NFL debut on September 16, 2007.

On September 25, 2007 the Bengals released him.
