Constantino Méndieta (born April 10, 1970) is an American surgeon and physician. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In 1987, 1991, 1993 he was a volunteer physician for the American Cancer Society. He is described as one of the pioneers of the Brazilian butt lift.[1][2][3][4][5]
Career
[6] In 1987, 1991 and 1993 he was a volunteer doctor for the American Cancer Society. In 1996 and 1997 he was medical director of Air Ambulance and Flight surgeon. In 1998 he was a professor at the Harvard Medical School. Mendieta founded 4 Plastic Surgery Aesthetic Beauty Institutes based in Miami, Florida. He was certified by the American Board of Physician Specialties. In 2017 he performed plastic surgeries on Kim Kardashian, Serena Williams, and Jennifer Lopez.[7][8][9]
Early life
Méndieta was born on April 10, 1970, in Los Angeles, California, United States. His interest in plastic surgery arose in Nicaragua, where his uncle was a plastic surgeon. He graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine, general surgery at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, and plastic surgery at the University of Miami, Florida. He obtained a Research Scholarship in Aesthetic Surgery at Harvard University, and international experience in Brazil, Scotland, England and France.[1][6][10]
