Revision as of 16:47, 5 September 2006

Darlington Mowden Park ('Mowden') is a rugby team that plays in the town of Darlington, County Durham. They play in the National League Division 3 North. They were formerly known as Darlington Grammar School Old Boys, but changed their name when they moved to their current Yiewsley Drive home. A subsequent move, to the West Park development in Darlington, is envisaged in the near future.

Mowden's most famous moment came in 2000, when they reached the last 16 of the Tetley Bitter Cup (now the Powergen Cup), losing only 29-8 to Harlequins, despite a difference between the two sides of 5 leagues at the time.
