Aleksandar Saša Trajkovski (Маcedonian: Aлександар Саша Трајковски; born on March, 28, 1985 in Bitola[1]) is a Macedonian poet, translator and interpreter. Permanent member of the Macedonian Scientific Association of Bitola and doctor by profession.[2]
Early life and education
After attending the Primary school "Goce Delchev" where he was declared the best student if his generation, he graduated from the Classical High school "Josip Broz Tito" in his hometown. Successively, he completed his academic studies at the University of Medicine, Surgery and Pharmacy "Carol Davila" in Bucharest, Romania.
Career
Trajkovski is a doctor at an oncology clinic.[3]
He is a member of the Writers Club “Kosta Solev Ratsin” from Veles and The Association of Poets and Writers “Poetska Harfa Skopje”.
His two books of poetry entitled “Lyrical Elegies” and “Poems from the Balkans”, were published by the oldest publishing house in Bitola “Data Pesnopoj”, and translated into over ten of the most spoken languages in the world. The book of poems “Balkan Haiku – Harakiri”, published by the Association for Literary Development “Nov Vavilon” of Bitola, has been printed in over a thousand copies and translated into more than five languages, appearing in various magazines and international literary events, and in numerous poetry readings throughout Macedonia and other European countries. In the field of translation, he is translator in Romanian langugage and part of the Macedonian Association of Translators and Interpreters.[4]
On 29th June 2021, the Board of Directors of the MND of Bitola approved his membership, oficially becoming part of the Macedonian Scientific Association of Bitola founded in 1960.[5]
