The Academic City Depot is located after the Academic City station and serves the east depot and maintenance facility for the Blue Line.

The depot consists of seven tracks serving all Hyundai Rotem trains on the line, however, not all of them are in use in one time.

The depot is located in Al Ruwayyah 3 which is opposite to Dubai International Academic City in Al Ruwayyah 1 & 2. It is also located along Emirates Road (E 611).
