Hyde Park Bicycling Scene is a black and white silent documentary short film shot in 1896 which shows many people riding their bikes and riding carriages pulled by horses.[1]
Synopsis
In the 30 second film which is believed to be one of RW Paul's earliest actuality films shows people riding their bikes and riding carriages being pulled by horses down a road in Hyde Park which also shows in the background people walking alongside the road on a path.[2] It is a notable film as it is one of RW Paul's first ever films which started his career as a director for many films to come.
