Ismael Moussa (born 9 May 2001) is a Nigerien-Belgian footballer who plays for Italian club Savoia and Niger U23.[1][2]

Club career

Born in Belgium,  Moussa is a youth product of RAEC Mons in Belgium. He began his career with the semi-pro side RAEC Mons U19. He transferred to Virton U21 in February 2022. On 15 August 2022, Moussa  signed a 2-year pofessional contract with Danish 2nd Division club Jammerbugt .[3][4][5] Due to the dissolution of Jammerbugt  by a Danish Court in 2022, he moved to Spanish side Real Betis Balompié U21 in September 2022. Ahead of the 2023/2024 season, he joined Italian side Savoia on February 3, 2023.[6]

International career

Moussa has made appearances each on the Niger U-20 and U-23 national football teams.  In June 2023, Moussa received his first call-up by Niger U23 team and was included in the final squad for the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.[7][8][9][10] He made his debut for Niger U23 as a second-half substitute in the 0–2 defeat with Mali U23 on 1 July 2023 at the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.[11]
