Rizi Xavier Timane is a Nigerian-born trans male singer and activist who has spoken about the intersection of his faith and transgender identity.[1][2]

Timane was born in Lagos, Nigeria.[3] When he came out as a trans boy at the age of eight, he was subjected to transgender conversion therapy from his family and church. He later underwent gender-affirmation surgery.[4]

In September 2017, Legit.ng wrote that Timane had been married to a woman for five years at that time.[5] As of 2018, Timane lives in the United States.[6]
