Susan Botti is an American soprano and composer of contemporary classical music. She is the recipient of numerous awards including a Guggenheim Fellowship[1], the Rome Prize and the Goddard Lieberson Fellowship. Botti has received commissions for new works by the New York Philharmonic and Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, and held the Daniel R. Lewis Young Composer Fellowship with the Cleveland Orchestra from 2003 to 2005.

Botti has served on the faculties at the University of Michigan, Bard College, and Vassar College. She is currently a member of the composition faculty at the Manhattan School of Music.
