Biography
[Terrence “Franchise” Coles & Leon “Vinny Radio” Moore] are a hip hop duo known as The Come Up based out of the Braddock borough of Pittsburgh, PA. The two met in junior high through Vinny’s brother and shared a mutual interest in music. In 2008 they met fellow Pittsburgh emcee’s Mac Miller & Beedie to form the East End Empire.
Career
[In the spring of 2002, The Come Up began recording music with local friends on a karaoke machine just having fun and eventually formed a group known as D.A. (Deadly Alliance). After releasing 2 albums the group disbanded with Vinny taking a hiatus and Franchise continuing to create solo music, by 2007 the two had reconnected musically and started working on material as a group. With the Pittsburgh scene rising they began to work with other local acts and eventually met with fellow emcee’s Mac Miller & Beedie where they would go on to form the Pittsburgh hip hop umbrella known as the East End Empire.
