Village Cricket Boy is a 2022 Malayalam-language Indian short film directed by Rahul R. Sarma, starring Davinchi Santhosh, Divya Gopinath in lead role. The film released on 08 July 2022 through Nerambokku YouTube channel. The film won the Kerala State Television Award for Best Children's film and Best Child Actor in 2022.[1] [2] This film was screened at International documentary short film festival of Kerala 2022 in the Short Film Competition category.
Plot
Kannan is a little boy who lives with his mother and brother. He loves the game of cricket and is a big fan of Sachin Tendulkar. While playing cricket with his friends, the cricket bat unfortunately breaks from Kannan's hand and as he has no cash to pay for a new one, his friends isolate him. who came home from the playground upset had a fight with his mother While watching TV at the neighbor's house It is known that Boost's advertisement will give Sachin Tendulkar a free signed bat. Go to the store and ask if they have cricket bat free. Kannan leaves the shop saying that he will come back with money in hand. When I found out that I would not be able to buy a boost from home,Kannan stole money from Punyalan's vow box and rubber from the church yard. It took days to steal.
