Ingvild Stensland (born August 3, 1981) is a is a Norwegian football midfielder, who currently plays for Kopparbergs/Goteborg FC in Göteborg, Sweden. She is also a member of the Norwegian Women's National Football Team, making her A-team debut on January 23, 2003 against the U.S. in China.[1]

Stensland was born in Lyngdal, Norway and was a football talent at an early age. She grew up in a football family with a father who was a coach, and trained with the boys side until she was in her teens. After her debut with Lyngdal IL in 1987, she has played for FK Donn, Athene Moss, Kolbotn and is now with Kopparbergs/Göteborg in Sweden’s Damallsvenskan league.

She was named the Toppserien Player of the Year in 2005.

As a national team player, Stensland played in the 2005 European Championships, winning the silver medal after falling 3-1 to Germany in the finals. She played in every match of the 2007 Women's World Cup in China, in which Norway finished in 4th place.

She has also been nominated for the FIFA Women's World Player of the Year Award in 2005, 2006 and 2007.
