Woodville is a town in Marshall County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 69 at the 2000 census. Proposals to annex the unincorporated areas of New Woodville and McBride on the shores of Lake Texoma was considered in the past. The total population within a 10 mile radius is 300, therefore Woodville could grow 5 times its size.

Demographics

As of the censusTemplate:GR of 2000, there were 69 people, 27 households, and 18 families residing in the town. The population density was 605.8 people per square mile (242.2/km²). There were 37 housing units at an average density of 324.9/sq mi (129.9/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 98.55% White and 1.45% Native American. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.90% of the population.

There were 27 households out of which 37.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 44.4% were married couples living together, 18.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.3% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.56 and the average family size was 3.00.

In the town the population was spread out with 34.8% under the age of 18, 2.9% from 18 to 24, 33.3% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 7.2% who were 65 years of age or older.
