Raymond Chan (died April 2024) was an American art director and production designer.
Career
Beginning his career in 1993,[1] Chan first joined Marvel Studios on Thor: The Dark World as a supervising art director. His credits as a supervising art director include Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Doctor Strange, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far From Home. Chan's credits as a production designer include The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania and Deadpool & Wolverine.[2] Ray Chan's credits as art director also include King Arthur, Monte Carlo,[3] National Treasure, Blood Diamond, Knight and Day, Wrath of the Titans, Alien vs. Predator, and Children of Men. The production designer of Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, he was featured on Marvel Studios Assembled in 2021.[4]
Chan won the ADG Excellence in Production Design Award for his work on Guardians of the Galaxy.[5]
Personal life and death
Chan was married to Lindsay and had two children.[6]
Chan died in April 2024.[7][8]
