Sharon was a former NYCRR train station that served the residents of Amenia, New York.

Despite its name, Sharon Station is not actually located in Sharon, Connecticut; however, was located over the state border and caters to the residents of Sharon. It was a much closer commute to Sharon Station then to the Danbury station to the south.

Trivia

  • Originally Sharon was freight only, however began passenger service in the late 60's.
