Infobox image issue

Hi Jax_0677, MetalDiablo666,

Happy to see this article being worked on, but Jax 0677, your use of this Overkill image on the BPMD article seems to violate the Wikipedia MoS on images. Please note:

  • "Images must be significant and relevant in the topic's context, not primarily decorative." – Relevancy is very iffy here as it's a different band performing over 10-years ago with only one common band member. It seems to be "primarily decorative", not "significant and relevant".
  • "Lead images should be natural and appropriate representations of the topic; they should not only illustrate the topic specifically, but also be the type of image used for similar purposes in high-quality reference works, and therefore what our readers will expect to see. – The image does not satisfy these requirements.
  • Lead images are not required, and not having a lead image may be the best solution if there is no easy representation of the topic. – The MoS is saying, it's better to have no image than to have a bad or an incorrect one, "just for the sake of having an image," in an article.

Also, not that it matters, but I'm not sure I've ever seen one band's article using the lead image also used on another band's article.

Please restore the previous edit. I've added MetalDiablo666 as he also removed this image and may be able to help with consensus. Not really needed with a MoS issue, but still good to have and recommended by Wikipedia:BRD. Looks as if you already did a WP:RI and we can hope someone steps up.
