edit to intro[edit]

I'd like to remove the second sentence from the article, because it doesn't do anything for me. Much better would be a paragraph explaining more specifically what physical or biological barriers might create an endemic species. Sectoid2727 (talk) 21:43, 1 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What is the criteria for inclusion in areas of high levels of endemism?
