I request the Corresponding author of the material and got the confirmation. Also I asked him to send the request and his confirmation to mailbox the wiki provided. Is there anything I need to do? Zhangchen Zhou (talk) 14:33, 19 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
We will have to wait until a member of the Volunteer Response Team assesses the permission emails. That could take a while. — Diannaa (talk) 02:00, 20 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Zhangchen Zhou I've just searched through the VRT emails and have been unable to find anything referencing this page. Could you please tell me which author(s) sent in an email, or when they would have done so? VernoWhitney (talk) 18:14, 2 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
xuzhiqin at sjtu.edu.cn zhiqin John Xu sent an email on July 19th to permissions-en at wikimedia.org and permissions-commons at wikimedia.org Zhangchen Zhou (talk) 08:07, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I'm afraid I still can't find anything. Do you happen to know if he received a reply with a ticket number and I could look it up that way? We don't have a backlog right now, so someone should have replied by now (and he also should have received an auto reply immediately when the email was received). I'm sorry for the inconvenience.
