Philaethria dido
Philaethria dido, the scarce bamboo page or dido longwing, is a butterfly of the family Nymphalidae which is found from the Amazon rainforest up through Mexico. They are often confused with the malachite butterfly, Siproeta stelenes, but can be told apart by their wing shape.Photograph: Böhringer Friedrich
