Jemima Wyman[edit]

Jemina Wyman (born in 1977) is a contemporary artist. Wyman always tries to be innovative with her work all the time. The is not much information on Wyman's life, but there is some about the work she does right now. The material Wyman uses in her art pieces can have a significant meaning towards the art piece. As of now, Wyman lives and works in Los Angeles, CA and Brisbane. Most of her work involves videos, performances, photography, and painting. Her work surrounds the exploration of formal and psychological to bring identity to a concept. She aims to bring visions to people so we can acknowledge them. When looking at her work, you can see the innovation she had for each of her new projects, she values what she does.

Life and Education[edit]

Jemina Wyman was born in Sydney, New South Whales. As of now, there is not a lot of information on how she grew up, more of her story, but we do know that she completed her Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (Visual Arts) at the Queensland University of Technology with honors. And then, she earned her Masters's in Fine Arts from The California Institute of Arts in Los Angeles (2007). Wyman has worked her way up. That is why a lot of her work can be seen around the world. She has had many solo exhibitions. Some of her solo exhibitions can be found below, under the accomplishments section.
