Hi Arthur. I'm not sure where exactly you added comments to a "closed" discussion, but I just want to let you know here that some editors close discussions as a means of ending all debate or argument. Not saying that's the case or not here, just letting you know that it does happen. If you feel that's the case, you can always ask a neutral third party if they think a discussion should indeed be closed or if editors are "gaming the system". If you ever have questions about how Wikipedia works feel free to ask me on my page or email me. I'm not as active as I once was here, but I'll eventually get around to assisting you.
