::: They might be incompliant, but I presented a bunch of reliable sources by reputable that show how this episode in Syrian history should be represented in an encyclopedia. Fact is, all the article says about this episode is a quote. Up until today the article completely ignores for example that Syria shelled Israel, a fact that every single reliable source (and even unreliable sources critical of Israel such as Chomsky) mentiones. Not in passing, but as one of the most significant causes of the conflict over the Golan. In contrast, this quote by Moshe Dayan is ignored in most reliable sources or at most discussed in passing - strongly suggesting that historians take this quote with a grain of salt. But what I am saying, policies on canvassing are apparently more important than ensuring that this will become a reliable, neutral and unbiased encyclopedia. You may wish to present evidence at this SPI:[1]. TFD (talk) 06:59, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

edit warring

You have been reported to the edit-warring noticeboard, you can see this here. nableezy - 07:18, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

The block time is extremely unfair. It is the first ever editor's block, and 30 hours are unheard of. user:RomaC was blocked only for 16 hours by the same admin for the same "slow-motion edit-warring".Tariqabjotu, may I please ask you to reconsider the time of the block? Thanks.--Mbz1 (talk) 15:33, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks Mbz1, but I really do not care. If I am guilty of edit-warring so is Nableezy who also reverted several times within a few days. So it be. The real problem is rather that Supreme Deliciousness and Nableezy got away with lying about a source. What we have now is an article section which is bordering a hoax. I do not even want to know what damage these two editors have done at other articles. And I am saying that as someone who thinks that this section should make it clear that Israel was not a saint either. Pantherskin (talk) 16:29, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration enforcement warning: discretionary sanctions (WP:ARBPIA)

The Arbitration Committee has permitted administrators to impose, at their own discretion, sanctions on any editor working on pages broadly related to the Arab-Israeli conflict if the editor repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions including blocks, a revert limitation or an article ban. The committee's full decision can be read at Wikipedia:Requests for arbitration/Palestine-Israel articles#Final decision.  Sandstein  15:49, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Recent Edits which could be construed as canvassing attempts.

Hi Pantherskin, please review our WP:CANVAS policy and ensure that further requests for editor attention are not peppered with aspersions, attacks, non-neutral language and attempts at swaying the decision of the reader. Your recent posts to WikiProject Syria and WikiProject Israel seemed to violate standing policy on acceptable language for editor notifications. Kind Regards, Unomi (talk) 12:44, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Bogus, Unomi and you know that. Pantherskin (talk) 12:45, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I know you feel strongly about the subject matter, but a brief look at WP:CANVAS and your posts to the wikiprojects will show that they are noncompliant. They fall afoul of both Campaigning and Inappropriate notification. Unomi (talk) 13:01, 24 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
