Can you help?!? I am in constant need of photos for various articles I am working on, and I am in dire need of the following photos from around the globe. So I turn to the community in the hope that someone out there is able to take the photos that I require. If you can help with photos of any of these subjects, please upload them to Commons, and then post a short message with a link to the photos on my English Wikipedia talk page. In the event you don't have a Commons log-in, you can email them to me at russavia.wikipedia@gmail.com and advise which licence you would like to licence them under, and I can do the uploading, categorisation, etc. I have provided as much detail on what I require, including addresses, links to online maps, and photos of the subject that I am unable to upload to Commons, in order for photographers to identify the subject I require. {{Today's Document}} and "Today's Document" challenge

Hi there. I didn't mean to cause any controversy with that template. It's brand new and experimental, created in conjunction with the as-of-yet-unlaunched Today's Document challenge cooperation with the US National Archives. I modeled it after the sister project templates, so it wasn't really intended as a talk page banner (presumably we could make a true talk page template if desired) because 1) this is a result of a cross-project collaboration of a sort, so it makes sense to me, and 2) it is actually directed at the reader, to point them on to an important document related to the subject and a trustworthy source. I moved it up on the page to increase its visibility simply because the National Archives is also featuring us on their site [1] and I thought we might want to do the same. Perhaps we can move it back down to the external links area if you don't like that idea?

In any case, as a major content writer, I would be very interested to hear your thoughts on that challenge as a whole, rather than just about this template. If you have a minute, please look it over. There are probably plenty of documents in their holdings that would interest you personally, too! Dominic·t 18:31, 1 June 2011 (UTC)
