Why you are adding this factoid to so many articles? Swan Lake, Mississippi, has about five people living there. Why does this trivial information about at train that doesn't stop there, need inclusion? Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:29, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I believe that Wikipedia should have the nearest active transportation link for small towns. A lot of old railroad towns have trains that pass by them and have stations near them. I can certainly say as someone who doesn’t own a car that if I were trying to go somewhere I would want to be able to look at Wikipedia, in one established and respected place, and not search the internet to find a transportation link. Transportation sections are also incredibly primed for expansion if other transportation links exist. If you have any discussions that discourage against a transportation section please let me know.
It adds value to the page for those who may need or want a transportation wayfinding section, this includes me. Will I ever go to Swan Lake? Probably not. Will other people who may not want to drive? Not unlikely. AmtrakTraiNut (talk) 21:44, 29 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
