==New NRHP Collaboration Division==
Hey, saw you were a participant in the [[WP:NRHP|National Register of Historic Places WikiProject]]. I thought I would let you know that there is a new [[Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/Collaboration|Collaboration Division]] up for the project. The goal of the division is to select an article or articles for improvement to [[WP:WIAGA|Good article]] standard [[WP:WIAFA|or higher]]. There is a simple nomination process, which you can check out on the division subpage, to make sure each candidate for collaboration has enough interested editors. This is a good way to get a lot of articles to a quality status quickly. Please consider participating. More details can be seen at the [[Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/Collaboration|division subpage]]. [[User:IvoShandor|IvoShandor]] 11:08, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for joining the '''[[Wikipedia:WikiProject Law Enforcement|Law Enforcement Wikiproject]]''' on the [[English Wikipedia]]! As you would have guessed we are a [[WikiPedia:WikiProject|group]] dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to [[law enforcement]]

Since you now are a member you get to have our userbox or banner on your userpage! To add these use:
#'''{{tnull|User WikiprojectPolice}}''' -- our userbox, or
#'''{{tnull|Lawenforcementmember}}''' -- our member banner.

'''''Here are some more tips to get you started:'''''
*''Creating articles'': See [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Law Enforcement/Requested articles|here]] for articles you can create, but don't forget to add '''<nowiki>[[Category:Law enforcement]]</nowiki>''' to the base of the article and our project banner to the talk page of the article using '''<nowiki>{{WPLE}}</nowiki>'''
*''Participate on our [[Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Law Enforcement|talk page]]'': It is highly recommended that you [{{SERVER}}{{localurl:Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Law Enforcement|action=watch}} watchlist it]. There are also a number of small projects on the talk page as well that may be of interest to you!

*''Improve an article'': Click [[:Category:Stub-Class Law enforcement articles|here]] to find all the really short articles, pick one from that list and improve it. When you are done go to the talk page of that article and removed <nowiki>{{WPLE| class=</nowiki>'''Stub'''<nowiki>}}</nowiki> the bit in bold and another editor will be along to see how well you have done and reassess the article to a much higher class.

'''''All members are reminded:'''''

Firstly, I haven't touched infoboxes. Only userboxes. But I'm sure that was just a typing mistake on your part - forming a similar word subconsciously. It happens to everyone.

With regard to "forcing my way of thinking on others" I think that putting over 50 political userboxes on your user page, "expressing opinions" that have no relevance to Wikipedia, might be a bit forceful. I'm referring to [[User:America69]]'s page, which I was targeting. Since you have some of the same userboxes, you were affected as well. It wasn't intentional, and I apologise for that. But really, looking at your page, I find some of your opinions deeply disturbing. I really don't think it has anything to do with Wikipedia that you think Ronald Reagan was an excellent president (!) or you supported Sarah Palin (!!!!!!!!!) let alone that you think that the death penalty should be used more often or that war should be "given a chance." You have a right to hold your views, even if I disagree with them, but when you advertise them in a place where they should not be, in a way that I find inflammatory, I am annoyed. By altering the userboxes on America69's page, I was attempting to demonstrate how stupid it is to advertise one's views like that. I have no problem with one or two boxes stating which way you lean. That's helpful for other editors - they'll be able to avoid offending you on talk pages, and stating your bias sends a message that you're prepared to work constructively, whereas not admitting to it would make it difficult to assume good faith. But covering your page with 50 boxes, as America69 has done, or with the number you have (I haven't counted them), I feel is using Wikipedia as a soapbox for your views. As you said to me, if you want to express your opinion, write a blog. [[Special:Contributions/125.239.172.106|125.239.172.106]] ([[User talk:125.239.172.106|talk]]) 07:53, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

P.S. Calling me hippie scum, I think, goes completely against the policy of no personal attacks. You could be more polite.[[Special:Contributions/125.239.172.106|125.239.172.106]] ([[User talk:125.239.172.106|talk]]) 07:54, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

P.P.S. Equally, describing me as Democrat scum on your user page is in bad faith. Is it any wonder I despise people who hold your views when you're so quick to condemn? If I was like you, I could be snarky about "sane people" but I'm not like you, so I won't.[[Special:Contributions/125.239.172.106|125.239.172.106]] ([[User talk:125.239.172.106|talk]]) 08:09, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about that. My brother's been up to a bit of mischief (if you care to know more, see Balloonman's talk page.) I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. Hippie scum might be a bit strong though.[[User:MAC475|MAC475]] ([[User talk:MAC475|talk]]) 08:44, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

After looking at the edit history for my userbox [[User:Jc-S0CO/Userboxes/Iraq|here]], I wanted to thank you for reverting the latest vandalism which had been done there. Sadly, it's not the first time it's happened. I'll have to keep a closer eye on it in the future. »[[User:Jc-S0CO|<font color="black"><b>S0CO</b></font>]]<small>([[User_talk:Jc-S0CO|<font color="red">talk</font>]]|[[Special:Contributions/Jc-S0CO|<font color="blue">contribs</font>]])</small> 05:39, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

==Speedy deletion of [[:Lafe Nelson Elementary School]]==
[[Image:Ambox warning_pn.svg|48px|left]] A tag has been placed on [[:Lafe Nelson Elementary School]] requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under [[WP:CSD#A7|section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion]], because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, ''etc.'') or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the [[WP:CSD#Articles|criteria for speedy deletion]], such articles may be deleted at any time. Please [[Wikipedia:Notability|see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable]]

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding <code>{{tl|hangon}}</code> to '''the top of [[:Lafe Nelson Elementary School|the page that has been nominated for deletion]]''' (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on '''[[ Talk:Lafe Nelson Elementary School|the talk page]]''' explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for ''speedy'' deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact [[:Category:Wikipedia administrators who will provide copies of deleted articles|one of these admins]] to request that they [[Wikipedia:Userfication#Userfication_of_deleted_content|userfy]] the article or have a copy emailed to you. <!-- Template:Db-notability-notice --> <!-- Template:Db-csd-notice-custom --> <font color="green">[[User Talk:Bongomatic|Bongo]]</font><font color="blue">[[Special:Contributions/Bongomatic|matic]]</font> 09:30, 31 January 2009 (UTC)

* We have a number of [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Task forces|task forces]] that focus on specific topics, nations, periods, and conflicts.
* We've developed a [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Style guide|style guide]] that covers article structure and content, template use, categorization, and many other issues of interest.
* If you're looking for something to work on, there are many [[:Category:Military history articles needing attention|articles that need attention]], as well as a number of [[Template:WPMILHIST Review alerts|review alerts]].
* The project has a [[Wikipedia:WikiProject Military history/Hotline|stress hotline]] available for your use.

== [[The Gila Valley Arizona Temple]] ==

Hello, I noticed your move of [[The Gila Valley Arizona Temple]] to [[Gila Valley Arizona Temple]] citing the removal of an unnecessary "the" from the title. I can understand how this would appear to be the case upon first glance, however, in this particular instance the word "The" is a part of the temple's official name; see [http://www.lds.org/temples/main/0,11204,1919-1-600-0,00.html] versus [http://www.lds.org/temples/main/0,11204,1912-1-161-1,00.html], for example. See also [[Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Latter_Day_Saint_movement#Gila_Valley_Arizona.2C_and_temple_names]] for some discussion relating to the name. I have moved the title back to the official name, and left a note on the article's talk page linking to that discussion for future reference. ==File permission problem with File:SPDpng.png==
[[File:Copyright-problem.svg|64px|left|alt=|link=]]
Thanks for uploading '''[[:File:SPDpng.png]]''', which you've attributed to Pbase.com. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
* make a note permitting reuse under the [[WP:CC-BY-SA|CC-BY-SA]] or another acceptable free license (see [[Wikipedia:File copyright tags/Free licenses|this list]]) '''at the site of the original publication'''; or
* Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to '''permissions-en@wikimedia.org''', stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter [[WP:CONSENT|here]]. If you take this step, add {{tl|OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to '''permissions-en@wikimedia.org'''.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at [[Wikipedia:Non-free content]], use a tag such as {{tl|non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at [[Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use]], and add a [[Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline|rationale]] justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See [[Wikipedia:File copyright tags]] for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in [{{fullurl:Special:Log|type=upload&user=Justin_Herbert}} your upload log]. '''Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged''', as described on [[wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion#Files|criteria for speedy deletion]]. You may wish to read Wikipedia's [[Wikipedia:image use policy|image use policy]]. If you have any questions please ask them at the [[Wikipedia:Media copyright questions|Media copyright questions page]].
