User 151.200.32.170

Hi. I'm having some difficulty dealing with this anonymous user 151.200.32.170, based out of the DC area. Looks like you've had your run-ins with him as well.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Chad_Dukes_(radio_personality)

In this article talk, he keeps undoing my revisions. This has gone on for a couple months now.

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Talk:Chad_Dukes_(radio_personality)&action=history

In addition, this user was the chief vandalizer of the now dead Big O and Dukes article. He seems obsessed with this one radio station based out of DC, WJFK, where all of these shows are found in the lineup, Mike O'Meara, Big O and Dukes, etc. Please advise. Let Me Kick Something By Ya

I don't like the 60 mile stuff. I understand why it is chosen, but it is rather arbitrary. Are those three cities in a census MSA or CSA? If so, then using that in the name would be better in my opinion. As to the layout, look at {{Phoenix TV}} or {{Las Vegas TV}}. They seem to be fine under the new guidelines. My biggest problem with the Phoenix one is that it is still city centric and that could be a problem and it also includes stuff that is clearly not associated with Phoenix. Forgot to add. I don't know why we need to split out the low power stations. They are still stations in the area. Being low power is not something special. Is it? Vegaswikian (talk) 05:34, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As to the other templates. Yes, I would make them all MSA/CSA based since then we are grouping based on federal data. That should be safe to use. The only caution is that in some places there many be too many of these. My solution in those cases would be to create a template for the region and then break out the various MSA/CSAs as metropolitan areas in the template. Just remember that with the confusion, things can change in the future. In the end, it is not difficult to modify the templates. Combining or splitting are easy cut and paste edits. Vegaswikian (talk) 05:59, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed you added the Tri-CitiesTV codes back to the pages that it had been deleted from. Do you know if that bot that deleted them was errant in doing so? Just curious. Nicholasm79 (talk) 04:05, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Reversions

Please refrain from reverting until I can get back to you (5 min?). I don't want to get into an edit/wheel war. NuclearWarfare contact meMy work 03:38, 27 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have unblocked the IP for now. I acted so quickly because of the speed of that IP's edits, and the fact that there has been an ongoing dispute with an IP vandal on articles about TV stations, and I assumed it was connected to that. I don't edit in this field very much at all, so I don't completely understand what this is about, but I hope to help resolve it fairly. re: KOOP (FM)

About the time you left me the talk messages, I noticed the string of accounts in the edit history. While reviewing the alleged attack you made against one of them, I saw the checkuser request. I've got a feeling they're related. I know I gave one of them a COI warning, because he claimed to represent the station.

That said, the "playlist" theory in an earlier version of the article was refuted by another source I found, so I've pared that out. The new source goes into full details. —C.Fred (talk) 02:29, 29 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
