J-stan This is my second review, I believe the last one was about a month ago. I am going up again because I have grown as an editor - I've made about 600 or 700 edits since then. So, Ladies and Gentlemen of the English Wikipedia, please be kind in your comments, and I look forward to your constructive criticism! *Hi J-stan! Your mainspace is really very good. You've done a lot of excellent work on the articles mentioned in q1, so kudos for that. Nice work on your newfound vandalfighting (TW is nice way to get started in that area). I strongly suggest you install the anti-vandal tool if you want to help out with vandal whacking. popups is also a good all round tool.

I am impressed with how you handled some of the conflicts you were in, although I'm not sure that removing the comments is the best way forward...they can still be found in the history of your talk page.

I'm not sure if you're considering adminship yet, and you certainly need a few more months a few more edits before going for it, but you'll want/need to pick up in areas other then RfA; the only project space area you're active in. That's still a long way away, probably, but entering areas such as XfD, Speedy tagging, and other admin areas will give a taste of the work, so you know what you're comfortable doing. Make sure you report vandals to AIAV too!

Anyway, that's all I've got at the moment. Hope this helps, and give me a yell on my talk page if you have any more questions/comments. Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
Well I am still a member of Wikiproject paintball, and I am quite pleased with my contributions to the player position pages, specifically the Woodsball positions. The rifleman page is of particular importance. A while ago, I took it upon myself as a personal project to improve the rifleman page. I split the article up, and added and revised that page to a large extent, even though it is still a shorter article.
I also have installed twinkle, and the abilities it has given me as an editor is something I would like to briefly acknowledge.
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
More recently, my burst of activity at wikipedia has gotten me into a few conflicts, albeit not all directly involved me. One is on Talk:Fall Out Boy. I noticed User:Spuddy17 had commented on the inaccuracies in the article. She wouldn't source them, so User:LaraLove reminded her to source them, or else she would remove them. This sparked the threat of a revert war, and I chose to mediate the discussion. Eventually, I stepped away, as LaraLove assured me that she was able to handle it. After that, the discussion quieted down, with Spuddy17 apologizing for the sensitivity she displayed (and me proposing a group hug, which has gotten no response. *sigh* :) .).
To one fight including myself, which actually took place yesterday, is that User:Beem2 was adding unsourced information about a soundtrack to Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Conviction, to which User:ColdFusion650 removed his edits. Beem insisted on this info, and not wanting to violate WP:3RR, Coldfusion asked for assistance. I offered to help, and I removed Beem2's edits twice, and he broke the 3RR. Beem notified me that after I first reverted his edits, he had placed a source for his info. I apologized for my mistaken edits, and, since his breaking of 3RR was in line with WP:IAR, I did not report him. However, his comment made to me falsely accused me of committing vandalism. Stepping out of practice, I removed this comment to protect my reputation from this libel. See my talk page for a more detailed reasoning.
