*'''Keep''' Quite clearly a notable authority in his field. Using Web of Science to eliminate false hits from google Scholar, and to cover the complete time period, , 93 papers are listed. The highest cites are 246, 217, 121, 93 which even in medical science where citation counts are high is very notable work. The most cited paper is apparently an important randomized trial "Autologous chondrocyte implantation compared with microfracture in the knee - A randomized trial " ; The h-index is 23 , higher than with GS because much of his work is before GS started. :I've just checked Web of Science myself and the papers with 217 and 121 cites are by [http://cancerres.aacrjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/51/18/4837 ''Einar'' Solheim], as are quite a few of the other highly-cited ones, while at least one of the others is by [http://www.springerlink.com/content/y014221w0xn83n63/ ''Eivind'' Solheim]. (WoS only uses initials of forenames). All 3 of these E Solheims work in medicine at the University of Bergen. The highest cites by our orthopedic surgeon appear to be 246, 93, 47, 43, on which he's respectively the 6th, 2nd, sole, 8th author. (Going through enough by hand to work out an h-index is too time-consuming for me i'm afraid) [[User:Qwfp|Qwfp]] ([[User talk:Qwfp|talk]]) 20:22, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Contested prod. Article about a Norwegian professor in medicine. Frim what I can find this person fails WP:PROF. In my search I have not bin able too find reliable secondary sources. Also coi problems. Rettetast (talk) 20:15, 13 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Top GS cites are 402, 131,80,40... h index = 11. There seem to be plenty of secondary sources. Publication list needs to be removed from article. Keep. Xxanthippe (talk) 00:46, 14 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]

I should note that Eirik Solheim is fairly common name in Norway and include profiled Norwegian journalist. A lot of the google hits also relates too Erik Solheim, te current Minister of the Environment o Norway. Rettetast (talk) 06:43, 14 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for this important information. I will leave it to Norwegians to separate the candidates. Xxanthippe (talk) 08:12, 14 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]
