Winfried Hassemer (Born 17 February of 1940 in Gau-Algesheim) is a German criminal law scientist and vice-president of the Federal Constitutional Court. Hassemer was first, from 1964 to 1969 a scientific assistant at the Institut for laws and social philosophy of the university of Saarland.
