Žatčany is a village and municipality (obec) in Brno-Country District in the South Moravian Region of the Czech Republic.

The municipality covers an area of 9.68 square kilometres (3.74 sq mi), and has a population of 782 (as at 3 July 2006).

Žatčany lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) south-east of Brno and 201 km (125 mi) south-east of Prague.
