(79978) 1999 CC158, also written as (79978) 1999 CC158, is a trans-Neptunian object that resides in the Kuiper belt region of the Solar System.[1] It was discovered on February 15, 1999 at the Mauna Kea Observatory, Hawaii
It has a 5:12 resonance with Neptune.[2]
