The 1990 Nicholls State Colonels football team represented Nicholls State University in the 1990 NCAA Division I-AA football season. The Colonels were led by fourth-year head coach Phil Greco. They played their home games at John L. Guidry Stadium and were an NCAA Division I-AA Independent. The Colonels officially finished the season 5–6. The team finished with a record of 4–7, but was awarded a forfeit win against Stephen F. Austin.
