The 1991 James Hardie 12 Hour was an endurance race for production cars. The event, the first ever Bathurst 12 Hour, was staged at the Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst, New South Wales, Australia, on 31 March 1991. Of the 24 starters in this, the first 12-hour race to be staged at Mount Panorama, 20 were still running at the finish.

1986 and 1990 Bathurst 1000 winner Allan Grice became the first driver to win both the 1000 and the Bathurst 12 Hour.
