First full course caution was out, as Juan Manuel Fangio II had slowed down. Green flag came out on lap 5.

Second full course caution came out, as Mark Blundell had a serious crash in turn 4. He suffered a broken foot.

Lap 12

Top 6: Alex Zanardi, Greg Moore, André Ribeiro, Gil de Ferran, Jimmy Vasser and Bobby Rahal. On lap 23, green flag came out once again.

Lap 40

Third full course caution was out, as Adrian Fernandez spun and crashed in turn 1. Green flag came out on lap 44.

Top 6: Zanardi, Moore, Ribeiro, Robby Gordon, de Ferran and Al Unser, Jr.

Fourth full course caution. Problems for Emerson Fittipaldi, as he slowed down. Green flag came out on lap 64.

Sixth full course caution as Carlos Guerrero had an expired engine. Green flag came out on lap 104.

Lap 115

Greg Moore retires with suspension problems. Ribeiro leads. Seventh full course caution. Few laps later, restart came out.

Lap 124

Eighth and last full course caution of the race as Robby Gordon hits the wall in turn 1. Green flag came out on lap 129.
