Rankings from AP Poll

The 1998 Arizona Wildcats football team represented University of Arizona during the 1998 NCAA Division I-A football season. It was the first 11-win season in school history and the best conference record to date. Had UCLA not lost its last regular season game, Arizona would have made its first ever appearance in the Rose Bowl this year, as UCLA would have gone to the National Championship game had they won, and Arizona would have gone to Pasadena as the Pac-10 runner up.
