The 1st Guards Armoured Brigade is a formation of the Ukrainian Ground Forces. The Brigade is located in Honcharivske. The full name of the Brigade is 1st Separate Guards Armoured Novohrad Orders of the Red Banner, Kutuzov, Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Alexander Nevsky and Red Star Brigade, (Ukrainian: 1-а окрема гвардійська танкова Новгородська орденів Червоного Прапора, Кутузова, Богдана Хмельницького, Олександра Невського і Червоної Зірки бригада)

History

The Brigade was formed from the 292nd Guards Armored Novohrad Orders of the Red Banner, Kutuzov, Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Alexander Nevsky and Red Star Regiment of the 72nd Mechanized Division and 280th Armored Regiment of the 25th Mechanized Division.
