The 2003 Derrybrien landslide was a landslide which occurred on 16 October 2003. The landslide disrupted the construction of a 71-turbine wind-farm.[1] It killed around 50,000 fish according to an estimate by Shannon Regional Fisheries Board and dislodged 450,000 cubic metres of peat.[2]
