MVPQB Luke Getsy (Akron)

The 2005 MAC Championship Game was played on December 1, 2005 at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan.[2] The game featured the winner of each division of the Mid-American Conference. The game featured the Akron Zips, of the East Division, and the Northern Illinois Huskies, of the West Division. The Zips beat the Huskies 31-30.[3]
