The 2019 Big Ten Conference Men's Basketball Tournament will be the postseason men's basketball tournament for the Big Ten Conference of the 2018–19 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Tournament will return to its more traditional Midwest roots as it will be held at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.[1] The Tournament will be held from March 13 through March 17, 2019.

Michigan is the two-time defending champion having defeated Purdue in the 2018 Tournament.[2]

Seeds

All 14 Big Ten schools will participate in the tournament. Teams will be seeded by conference record, with a tiebreaker system used to seed teams with identical conference records. The top 10 teams receive a first round bye and the top four teams receive a double bye. Tiebreaking procedures remain unchanged from the 2018 Tournament.[3]
