The 2021 Qalyubiyya train accident occurred on 18 April 2021 after a train derailed near the city of Benha in Qalyubiyya Governorate, Egypt.[1] The accident left 11 people dead and another 98 injured,[2] trapping several under overturned carriages.[3]
