The 2023 Jenin massacre was a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces in the Palestinian city of Jenin on 26 January 2023. As a result, 9 people were killed, including an elderly woman.[1][2] This brings the number of Palestinians killed in the West Bank to 29 so far this year.[3] Clashes between Palestinian militants and Israeli soldiers are common in Jenin.

Reactions

The Palestinian government expressed its condemnation of the massacre and called for urgent international intervention.[4]
